Where are you located?

We are located in the South Tees Motor Sports Park, between Teesside Karting and the Speedway track. Our address is: South Tees Motor Sports Park, South Bank Road, Middlesbrough, TS6 6XH. When you reach the Motor Sports Park turn, once in the main gate, turn left into the gravel carpark towards the Speedway, and you will see our arena to the left behind a green fence. 

Who's in your team?

Our instructors are fully trained to our company’s high standards and have years of experience competing in various disciplines of motorsport and instructing. We also have our event co-ordinators on-hand to ensure your time with us is completely safe and enjoyable. There is always a qualified First Aider on our site during the sessions.

What cars will I be driving?

To complete the handbrake turns, handbrake parallel parking and J turns we use BMW MINIs, which are all maintained to a high standard and are checked over regularly by qualified mechanics. They are fitted with dual controls for your safety. Donuts are taught in BMW Z3s, again, these are also maintained to a high standard and are checked over regularly by qualified mechanics. These are fitted with emergency cut out switches for your safety. Our Donut Roulette Challenge buggies are unique and purpose built for us; they are single seater, twin engine buggies which also have an emergency cut out switch for your safety. The 2 wheeling is done in a BMW MINI Cooper which has a stabiliser on the side and a roll cage inside to ensure your safety. This car is fitted with dual controls and emergency cut out switches for your safety.

Are you insured?

Yes, Stunt Drive Experience carry a £5 million Public Liability Insurance and a £10 million Employer’s Liability Insurance.

How old do I need to be?

Our minimum age is 17. However, our Stunt Drive Experience packages are available to drivers between 14 and 17 years of age, providing they meet our normal restrictions and have shown they have good basic driving and car control skills. To do this they need to have taken part and reached a satisfactory standard in our Young Driver Experience. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the session.

Do I need a driving licence?

Yes, a valid driving licence is required and proof of licence may be required.

Are there any height / weight restrictions?

You will need to be a minimum of 1.5m (5’) tall and under 1.95m (6’6’’). 20 stone is our weight limit.

How do I book?

Prior booking is essential. Please call us on 07794608755 between our office hours which are Saturday-Thursday 10am-6pm to make a booking. The following details will be required: booking name, drivers name, contact phone number, voucher details including codes and expiry dates.

What if I want to rearrange or cancel a date?

We have a strict 72 hour cancellation and rearrangement policy in place. If you do not notify us to change a booking at least 72 hours before your session is due, your voucher will be redeemed and will be non-refundable, therefore will not be able to be changed.

What do I need to bring on the day?

You will need to bring your driving licence and voucher along with you, if not you may be turned away.

When should I arrive?

We require you to be on site 15 minutes prior to the start time. This allows us to get everyone signed in and driving licences and vouchers to be checked, making a prompt start at the said start time.

What facilities do you have?

We have a heated indoor viewing cabin and a sheltered outdoor viewing area, which are in the centre, so you can view all of the session from these areas. We also have our own toilet block located on site.

Is there parking?

Yes, we have plenty of car parking at our site, which is free for our customers and their guests.

Can I bring guests?

Yes, you can bring spectators, however there is a charge of £10 per person (under 5s free), they will receive unlimited hot beverages, bottled water, juice and biscuits throughout the session and also free play on our racing simulator. They are also welcome to take pictures and videos, we get them involved too!

Can I bring my dog?

No, we do not allow dogs on our site, with the exception of guide dogs.

What should I wear?

Stunt Drive Experience is an outdoor activity, and with our British weather it is quite possible it could be cold and wet. Therefore we advise you to wear warm clothing and flat, sensible footwear. Please dress appropriately for the day.
